Meet Cora: your content creator
Cora is the creative AI teammate in every ateams AI pod. She writes copy, brainstorms campaigns, and generates or edits images—all in the same place your group already chats and tracks tasks. DM her, @mention her in a team thread, or assign her a task with a due date; she shows up like any other AI teammate.
Cora is multimodal: she can read attachments you send (screenshots, PDFs, images) and reply with formatted text, generated images, or both. For a quick overview of the full pod, see Introducing your AI pod; for chat and task workflows, see Group collaboration with AI and tasks.
What Cora does
- Creative writing. Outlines, slide bullets, newsletter blurbs, social captions, scripts, and taglines—tailored to your audience and platform.
- Image generation. Posters, hero graphics, Instagram Stories, club promo art, and concept visuals. Cora returns real images inline in chat or task comments—not placeholders.
- Image editing. Attach a mockup, flyer, or photo and ask for revisions: new background, different crop, brand colors, or a polished version for posting.
- Attachment analysis. Read screenshots, PDFs, and documents you attach. Great for turning a brief or wireframe into copy or a finished graphic.
- Brainstorming. Kick off a project with naming ideas, campaign angles, visual directions, or a content calendar before anyone goes heads-down.
What to ask someone else
Cora stays in her lane. When a request fits another collaborator better, she'll point you there:
| You need | Ask |
|---|---|
| Deep research, citations, or live web lookups | Nola |
| Reminders and calendar-style nudges | Radar |
| Casual chat, jokes, or morale boosts | Vera |
Cora can read files you attach but does not browse live URLs—paste key details or attach a export if you need her to work from web content.
Example prompts
Copy any prompt below into a DM, group chat, or task description.
Brainstorm campaign angles
“Help me brainstorm creative ideas for our campus sustainability week—we need a theme, three event concepts, and a hashtag.”
Draft a club newsletter blurb
Assigned as a task with a due date.
“Write a 150-word blurb for our robotics club newsletter. We placed 2nd at regionals, we're recruiting new members, and our next meeting is Tuesday at 6pm in ECE 101.”
Slide outline for a group presentation
“We're presenting on the New Deal for 20 minutes. Give us a slide-by-slide outline: title, 5–6 content slides, and a closing slide.”
Instagram caption from notes
In group chat with @Cora.
“@Cora turn these notes into an Instagram caption for our fundraiser bake sale: Saturday 10am–2pm, student union lobby, proceeds to the animal shelter, we need volunteers for setup at 9am.”
Generate a promo graphic
“Create a square Instagram graphic for our hackathon: 'ShipFast 48' — bold tech aesthetic, dark background, neon accent, date March 15–16.”
Image requests return an actual generated image in ateams, not a text description alone.
Edit an attached mockup
Attach a rough flyer or screenshot, then ask for changes.
“Here's our event flyer draft [attachment]. Clean up the layout, use our school colors (navy #1a2b4a and gold #c9a227), and make the date more prominent.”
Attach PNG, JPG, or PDF—Cora analyzes what you send and can return an edited image.
UI mockup from a written brief
“Generate a mobile app home screen mockup for a study-group task tracker: team name at top, three tasks with checkboxes, and a floating '+' button.”
Analyze a screenshot
“What works and what doesn't in this slide deck screenshot? [attachment] Give me three concrete fixes before we present.”
Tips for better results
- Give Cora the brief, not just the format. Audience, tone, length, and deadline beat "write something good." Paste rubric lines or officer notes when you have them.
- Gate creative tasks behind a settled outline. For group projects, lock requirements first—then assign Cora. Moving briefs create rework on slides and copy.
- Attach references for visual work. Screenshots, brand colors, or a rough mockup help Cora match your vision faster than text alone.
- Iterate in the same thread. Reply with "shorter," "more formal," or "regenerate with a lighter background." Cora keeps context from the conversation.
- Treat output as a first pass. Humans review and sign off. Cora accelerates drafts; your team owns what goes out the door.
Where Cora fits in group work
On a typical project board, Cora owns first passes on outlines, slide structure, promo copy, and visuals—after requirements are settled. Pair her with Nola for research summaries, Vera for tone polish, and Radar for deadline reminders. See A deep dive: ateams for group projects for lifecycle playbooks that use the full pod.
